This holder is very sturdy thanks to its 1/2" round steel framing and two support bars at the bottom that prevent tipping and shifting. Multiple customers report that it successfully stops horses from dumping, breaking, or crushing their water buckets—even determined animals that have destroyed traditional bucket hooks and handles in the past.

The bucket holder comes complete with all necessary mounting hardware for installation, including Phillips screws. One customer noted that lag bolts would be a nice upgrade for certain applications, but the included screws are sufficient for most standard stall and fence mounting situations.

Yes, customers have successfully used this holder with heated water buckets in stalls. The sturdy steel construction and secure mounting keep heated buckets stable and in place, making it ideal for winter water management or therapeutic applications.

Installation is straightforward—customers consistently report that it's easy to put up. The holder includes all mounting hardware needed, and the sturdy design doesn't require specialized tools or complicated assembly, making it accessible for most horse owners to install themselves.

The black powder coat finish is a durable protective coating that resists rust, corrosion, and weathering in stable environments. This finish adds durability and a sleek appearance while protecting the 1/2" steel frame from the moisture and wear typical in barns and stalls.

Many customers report that this holder has eliminated broken buckets and handles. By securely mounting the bucket so it cannot shift, tip, or be manipulated by the horse, it prevents the damage caused by horses dumping buckets, stepping on them, or crushing handles—even for horses known for destroying multiple buckets.

This is a durable, well-made product backed by a 5-year warranty. Customers report their holders show no signs of wear after extended use, and the sturdy 1/2" steel construction with powder coat finish is built to withstand years of daily stable use.
